Jeep safaris in Malta & Gozo


The ever popular Jeep safari allows you to discover the most beautiful parts of our islands which are rarely visited by tourists. The Jeep safari ensures you will have an action-packed day full of scenic beauty and fun. Our professional Jeep safari leader will lead you from the lead vehicle throughout the day via radio taking you to places that even many locals do not know exist. There is a stop for lunch to taste a large selection of local specialities. In season a stop for swimming is also programmed.

Malta Jeep safari

You will be collected from your accommodation and taken to the Jeep safari terminal departure point for collection of your vehicles for the day.

Drive to Miżieb and onto the Red Tower and Popeye’s Village where you can make optional stops.

After Popeye’s Village take an exciting but safe off road track to Golden Bay where you can make an optional stop for a drink or in season a swim.

Drive to Mġarr and Fomm ir-Riħ with its breathtaking views.

Proceed to the “Silent City” of Mdina where you will stop for a short visit. Then onto nearby Rabat where you stop for lunch.

After lunch drive to the Dingli Cliffs with its spectacular views from where you can also see the small island of Filfla just 5km off the South of Malta.

Then drive on to the Blue Grotto and then onto the fishing village of Marsaxlokk.

The tour will finish at the Jeep safari terminal from where you will be collected once again to be taken back to your accommodation.

 


1Gozo Jeep safari

The Gozo Jeep safari is probably the best way to see the island of Gozo, taking you to all the places of interest and driving through beautiful countryside and valleys.

You will be collected from your accommodation and taken to the Jeep safari terminal departure point for collection of your vehicles for the day.

Proceed to the Gozo ferry. Upon arrival in Gozo drive to the village of Qala and then onto Nadur, down to the red sandy beach of Ramla l-Ħamra (Ramla Bay) and then onto the very quaint village of Xagħra.

From here go onto Victoria, Gozo’s capital city where you stop for some free time and lunch.

After lunch head off for Marsalforn which is a very popular tourist resort and then onto Dwejra with its enchanting “Inland Sea”.

From Dwejra head to the fishing village of Xlendi and then back to the ferry to Malta.

The tour will finish at the Jeep safari terminal from where you will be collected once again to be taken back to your accommodation.

 


 

Land Rover Defender safaris

If you prefer to discover the charms of the islands in greater style and comfort you can do so in a new Land Rover Defender. These are the ideal way to transport up to 6 passengers around the islands in style and air conditioned comfort.

 

Gozo Land Rover Defender safari

You will follow the same route as listed in the Gozo Jeep safari above but in greater style and comfort.

Malta Land Rover Defender Luxury safari

The Malta Land Rover Defender Luxury safai is similar to the Malta Jeep safari but with a touch of luxury thrown in, both in terms of the vehicle you travel in and a superb lunch at an award-winning restaurant.

You will be collected from your accommodation and taken to the Jeep safari terminal departure point for collection of your vehicles for the day.

Drive to Miżieb and onto the Red Tower and Popeye’s Village where you can make optional stops.

After Popeye’s Village take an exciting but safe off road track to Golden Bay where you can make an optional stop for a drink or in season a swim.

From Mdina drive to Mosta to visit Mosta Dome.

Proceed to Naxxar famous for its curt ruts that curve and twist down the hillsides. You may wander around the narrow alleys and streets, viewing houses that are over 500 years old! You might even want to stop for a drink at the Village Square.

From Naxxar drive to a 5 Star Hotel where you will dine in an award-winning restaurant. You will be served a gourmet 3 course lunch that includes wine and water.

After lunch drive round Valletta, “Malta’s World Heritage Capital City” with great views of the Grand Harbour and then proceed towards Vittoriosa. Vittoriosa, also known as Birgu, was the city founded by the Romans in 200 BC. It was then further developed by the Knights of St. John in 1530 A.D. Birgu played the most important role during the Great Siege of 1565 and is also a city packed with historical wealth.

From Birgu head to the Neolithic Temples of Ħal Tarxien dating back to 3,500 B.C. with optional entrance. Then go onto Marsaxlokk fishing village and the Blue Grotto with an optional boat trip visiting the amazing cave.

The tour will finish at the Jeep safari terminal from where you will be collected once again to be taken back to your accommodation.
