Captain Morgan Cruises
If you prefer to join a guided tour cruise, our preferred cruise partners Captain Morgan Cruise have 40 years experience of offering unbeatable value, security, safety and fun. The following are a selection of recommended cruises to choose from, weather permitting, which may include transfer from and to your accommodation.
The Harbour cruise allows you to witness Malta’s living past and gallant history within the two natural harbours on either side of Valletta – Marsamxetto Harbour and Grand harbour. A detailed commentary will unfold the history of Valletta and the Three Cities connected with the two Great Sieges of 1565 and 1942, as well as all the other places of interest including the historical forts, battlements and creeks which can only be admired from the sea. Captain Morgan’s Harbour Cruise is renowned for its detailed commentary. You will cruise into every creek showing you the closest possible views.
If you are looking for that special romantic atmosphere or simply want to enjoy a different evening out, Malta’s Grand Harbour is absolutely amazing, and seeing it from the water and at night, is truly a sight to see!
Entering the harbour you leave the black night sea behind and instantly get the feeling of the size of the bastion walls and fortifications built by the Knights of St. John. On both sides of your Captain Morgan vessel it is as though you have gone back in time with watchtowers and steep lit ramparts framing the church domes, their red paint and flags signalling the historic “Three Cities” of Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea. To the right Valletta’s bastions, lined with traditional Maltese houses, look as solid as you can get, and the sandstone bricks take on an almost golden appearance – it is simply breathtaking!
You will also cruise past the Valletta Waterfront with its brightly painted facades of blues, greens, reds and yellows – a soft explosion of colour on the night-time vista.
To make your experience a more memorable one, Captain Morgan Cruises also offer a complimentary glass of wine during this cruise.

Now you can also see what lies beneath the sea that surrounds St. Paul’s islands from Captain Morgan’s unique purpose-built Underwater safari boat – the first of its kind in the Mediterranean. This safari location has been carefully chosen to ensure maximum passenger comfort and provide optimum viewing interest.
From the observation keel you will see breath taking underwater sights including diverse species of fish darting in and out through dramatic sea-bed formations, the occasional octopus languidly looking for a snack or a more comfortable cave to nap in, swaying forests of multi-hued algae and much more.
You will be gliding through and identifying the marine life that inhabits in the Maltese water – the clearest waters in the Mediterranean.
A fish feeding programme is maintained – Captain Morgan’s way of saying “thank you” to our splendid marine life for letting us share the sea. Indeed an Underwater safari is not only an exciting experience but an educational one as well, particularly for children.
