Following last year’s successful tour, I am pleased to once again be organising a trip to Cyprus & a Greek Islands Salamis cruise from 31 August to 7 September 2014.
The trip includes a 4 night Salamis cruise visiting the Greek islands of Symi, Samos, Ikaria & Kos and 3 nights in Cyprus with an option to attend Mozart’s opera “Cosi Fan Tutte” at the Paphos Medieval Castle, a co-production with the lyric organization by Opera Futura from Verona and the participation of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra. Since there are a limited number of airline seats and hotel rooms available, and the option dates with the airlines and hotels are tight, please complete and return the booking form together with a deposit of Euro 450.00 per person to the address above to reach me by not later than 19 June 2014. Full payment is required to reach me by 31 July 2014.

Reservations will be registered when the deposit is received and these will be treated strictly on a first-come first-served basis. We reserve the right to close the bookings early if the maximum number is reached before the 19 June 2014 closing date so please contact us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. If the required minimum number is not reached we reserve the right to cancel the trip.

Coach pick up for an afternoon guided excursion in English to Kourion (Curium) and Paphos
The excursion takes the coastal route through the Phassouri citrus groves and vineyards. We visit the ancient city-kingdom of Kourion (Curium) with its well preserved mosaics in the House of Eustolios, its theatre and basilica. Before arriving in Paphos, there will be a short photo stop at Aphrodite’s Rock (Petra Tou Romiou) where according to the legend the goddess rose from the waves. Once in Paphos ample time will be given to wander around the old fishing harbour (to see mosaics on your own if you wish)

Coach pick up for a full day guided excursion in English to The Troodos Mountains and the famous Kykko Monastery – a “must” for all visitors to Cyprus. Our excursion to Troodos will take us through pine trees and picturesque, traditional mountain villages with a beautiful view over the mountains, the “green heart” of Cyprus. We visit the picturesque little village of Omodhos and explore this clean, white village on foot, walking through its narrow alleys to the wine press of Linos. We proceed through Troodos square and arrive at the spectacular and rich Kykko Monastery. The history of this monastery dates back to the beginning if the 12th Century. We admire the impressive frescoes and mosaics of this monastery and see the icon of the Virgin which, it is said, was painted by Luke the Evangelist. We will then visit Throni, the place where the late Archbishop Makarios III was buried, and finally enjoy the breathtaking view of the North coast
Please note: monasteries and churches may be visited only in proper attire. Visitors with shoulder free tops, low cut dresses or shorts may be refused entry
